When selling firewood various volume measures are often used incorrectly and sometimes even abused.

This gives the consumer a false picture of both quantities and the price of this volume.

To illustrate how much firewood there really is in our pallets, we took such a pallet of firewood (33cm) stacked it in a trailer and then in 2 big bags of 1,8 m³.

Our pallets measuring 1,00 x 1,00 x 1,80 m, so a volume capacity of 1.8 m³, while the same amount of firewood losely on a trailer or in big bags occupies a volume of up to 3,6 m³.

In the pictures you can clearly see the visual volume differences between stacked wood and loose timber while this is exactly the same amount of firewood.

So you can see that you should always be careful when you compare the prices of firewood.
