Maintenance free charm Cleft chestnut fencing is a charming, natural fencing product that has been used in the English and French countryside for centuries. They look great on rural or cottage style properties. Usually left untreated, chestnut is incredibly strong and has a natural resistance to rot and fungus, which immediately explains its popularity. A solid construction Our cleft chestnut fences are made of cleft pales (average diameter 3 cm). They are assembled with galvanized wire and held upright by chestnut posts. This construction does not only look good, it is also very solid. Sizes Several heights are available: 100 cm, 125 cm, 150 cm and 175 cm. The pales are spaced 3.5 or 7.5 cm apart. More information?
